I agree, and I haven't liked the Celtics since the Big 3. When they didn't let Paul Pierce retire a Celtic, I was just done.
Tatum, Brown, Smart, I wouldn't have built around any of them. They should all be traded. Unfortunately, they have less value now because everyone knows they are not championship players.

Tatum and Brown can get their max contracts but only in Boston which is where they both do not want play. Sort of an issue for them.

Well said. Bold on the Stevens departure. I say if Stevens believes he's in deep sh## he'll resign. I do believe he's an intelligent dude... probably a better GM than a coach. His hands are tied in a way... he was hoping Tatum and Brown would just "become better"... it didn't happen. Great players when really nothing is on the line... (regular season games). When the playoffs hit... and everyone becomes "more serious" they can't compete at a high level. It's like they get intimidated or surprised about the competition.

Brown might walk on his own? Isn't his contract up? One less thing to worry about there. I never thought this could ever happen to a DEEP basketball team on paper... but WOW... this is kind of a shocker. Teams have this problem when they just don't have the talent... Boston has talent and basketball skills... they lack will power... fortitude. Which is rather unbelievable.
