Don't disagree. I just think it's natural for ownership to dump a coach after a disappointing result.

Without Ayton/Paul in Game6, what could Williams really do? Game played to its logical conclusion.

Look at the list of names that will show up as candidates for a job like this. Re-cycled Head Coaches and anonymous Assistants. No certainty that the new guy will be better than Williams.

New owner. This was happening most likely anyway. It was Championship or bust. Suns done. They mortgaged their entire future for an above the fold headline. The owner is a mortgage scammer so no shock here. Ayton will be gone, Booker will ask for a trade, no picks, etc… it’s going to be a long hot summer in Phoenix
