Because, Johnny, there are an untold amount of viewers to these broadcasts and they simply can't fit all the advertising they've sold into 30 second slots and you can't paint banners on the wrestlers like they are Nascars.

There are constant sponsor breaks throughout the matches, throughout the country, and even throughout the world.

It's a big business, Johnny.

i saw there was time left on the clock but the match was over i was confused also as i don't know wrestling

I've seen it first hand.
