He was a warrior. Young players could have learned from his toughness today.

Wilt did bring him into the league with no mercy back in the day!

Willis Reed left an impact on me and I'm sure countless others that extended far beyond basketball.

He was the walking, limping, definition of leaving it all on the floor.

He showed what TEAM really meant.

Didn't need to explain it.

You could see it and feel it.

What a great, great player he was and teammate he must of been.

RIP, and thank you sir for the lessons well taught.

It was an honor to watch you play.

Think you hit it, str. There must have been a real brotherhood on those Knick teams:

*Frazier/Monroe. Phil Jackson/DeBuscherre.

Really a by-gone era. Basketball so much a part of the NYC culture.

Ewing could have won if he had been a little luckier. Had to get thru Olajuwon/Jordan.
