This is very surprsing, 30-23 with 8 minutes left in the half? I though that might be the halftime score. Pitt cannot win at this pace, they have too many stretches with no points. Xaxier at least off to a good start unlike Round 1.

That big guy from Pitt is the most clumsy big man I have seen in years. He was awful against Miss State, throwing up 4 airballs from right under the basket.

Can Sean Miller finally make a Final Four, with Xavier no less after all his misses at Arizona. Sometimes teams that get that Round 1 scare get hot and keep gloing.

Yeah, I mentioned that yesterday that the recent trend in this tournament seems to be the first couple of days teams tend to play tighter, which would explain the rash of unders, I'll find that post later, but I did mention the points will start flowing, and what I'll do is cherry pick the teams that play solid defense, toss them out, and bet a select few games over the posted total. We'll see.

This game by the way is far from over, I learned too many lessons the hard way not to call a game early in the 2H.

Xavier is 'only' up 13, deduct the five I had to lay as a handicap that makes it eight points.
Now I'm not saying Pitt has a Klay and a Steph, but how many times have you seen those two erase a double digit deficit in a two minutes?

I did not know that Jaker, thanks for sharing.

Did you know 40 schools have nicknames named after dogs, but 42 have dogs as mascots.
That's because Georgetown are the Hoyas, and Tennessee are the Vols, both have dogs have mascots though.

The Bulldogs is the most common nickname, there is only one school that has a Great Dane, that being Albany.

We have two Jack Russell Terriers at home, but there aren't any schools named for the JRT, I would love to know as to why that is.
