#2One of the very few rule changes I'm OK with.
They've been experimenting with it here in the Indie Atlantic League, it does speed the game up some.Comment

#5As much as it helps fans and provides enhanced entertainment, just doesn’t seem fair for pitchers to now have to watch a clock counting down, taking focus away from their grip and delivery, creating more mental hurdles than already exist.Comment

#6Clocks don't belong in baseball. The game was fine. Leave it alone. If you only have a two minute attention span and you need constant action, go to a horse race.

All the new rules they've put into place the last few years should be thrown out. The worst was banning the infield shift, a great piece of strategy. Thankfully, they can still shift the outfield, until they ban that, too.Comment

#16It definitely should speed up some of the games. the new pickoff “limit rule” will also increase pitch outs, and maybe not lead to as many stolen bases. I do not like the new “pizza box” basesComment

#23It's a boring ass game in the regular season anyway. I like the new rules. The idea of a pitcher throwing the ball when he's not fully ready or a batter swinging wildly because he has to hurry throws an x-factor in the game. Who needs 4 hours to complete a 9 inning game? Garbage.Comment

#28No different that you get picked off 1st because you weren't set. Phuck up and there is a cost. #29I Hate it.But im a old fart.Get off my lawn.im not that bad but i hate change. The clock is too fast it needs to be 30 seconds and 40 with runners on base.If a runner gets to 3rd base then clock should be turned off even maybe at second base.I dont mind a faster game at home. But when im at the ballpark on nice warm summer night i want a 4 hour game.Comment

#30Yes. It's a designated runner, not a ghost runner. A ghost runner is when you don't have enough players so you pretend someone is on base.Originally posted by stevenashI'm OK with the pitch clock, now by 'designated runner' are you're talking about the extra inning 'ghost runner'?Comment
