After Temple beat Houston the first time you projected that you’d be on Temple again, was thinking similar route for Loyola Marymount. I honestly didn’t think even you’d be crazy enough to take SMU straight up in this one

I’ve sprinkled against Houston plenty of times and finally threw in the towel. Mostly Wichita and Cincinnati matchups. They just seem to get scripted a win every time you think you have them beat. My thought is sharps don’t come in as heavy on these and then books end up with a liability from upset betters going for the kill. In this case though, I’d have to think the liability would be on Houston tonight if they could get the live line to a pick

But is SMU you’re talkin. Of all these games I’d go with Oregon State just bc wtf does wash state have to play for. But that’s another team that may not even be worth throwing $20 on the +10 let alone the ML

By “throw in the towel” I meant I saw SMU and that’s where I stopped thinking about the game and moved on — learn from when you bet ORGST vs UCLA last year in these type of spots

SMU last year was a much different team. Notably Kendric Davis, who is now Memphis’s best player, was with SMU last year. Also they had a great coach in Tim Jankovich that they fired as well. There’s a reason why they suck so badly this year
