1) I think it WAS a hold.
2) But it decided the game.
3) Kickers are so accurate now. It was 98% game over after the kick. Best chance for PHI was to hope the RB got greedy and scored.Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?Comment -

#12I don't know. These games are so much on a knife-edge.
One observation:
*How did the Eagles get so jocked on the BB pass TDs?
...It was effectively the same play, just flipped Right to Left. KC knew how they'd react on the Double Team of Kelce.
If it's that easy, then full props to Kan City. That's like stealing.
These games can be maddening. What happened to the Eagles' defensive stats?
Teams move the ball with ease. Kickers rarely miss. Add in some flags, I don't like it.Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?Comment -

so a penalty isn't a penalty because I bet on the Eagles?
There's a difference between not seeing a penalty and thus not calling it as opposed to seeing a penalty and deliberately not calling it.

The guy held the WR not once but twice and thus preventing an easy TD and you want the refs not to call the penalty they saw! Why have referees then?
Let the players decide the game? WTF does that mean? By holding the the WR, the PLAYER decided that part of the game. He prevented the guy from running the route.
Are the refs allowed to call offside late in the 4th if they see an offside? What about roughing the kicker if they see a guy run into the kicker? Or is it just holding on the WR they aren't allowed to call if the see it?

#34Dude I forgot more about football than you will ever know. The play call was perfect for the coverage and it was a timing play to the corner of the end zone. They knew they had it for a TD and so did the defender. Your argument that you can holding on just about every play doesn't apply here. I have heard that before. Yes there is grabbing a tugging at the line of scrimmage but that is totally irrelevant when talking about the play at the end. The WR had him beat for an easy TD and the defender grabbed him twice because he knew he was beat. The ref saw it and did his job. Simple. End of story. The rest is just fluff. What was he supposed to do? Not call a penalty he sees?Originally posted by khicks26You sound like a clown that doesn't watch much football.

Does a MLB umpire not call a strike even though he sees a strike? Should he call it a ball just because you have a bet on the other team? LOL. Does a NBA ref not call a foul at the end of game just because it's tied?
The NHL is probably the worst at that. They call penalties throughout the game but if its the playoffs in overtime, the refs put away their whistles. That is bullshit. I have always hated that. I have always hated "let the players decide the game!" While I understand what is meant by that, it just doesn't make sense. Players are deciding the game throughout. Tripping a player is part of deciding the game.
I agree with those that say if its a foul in the first quarter and they see it and call it, then same goes at the end of the game.
You do what you always do. You are incapable of having a discussion without childish name calling.Comment -
