Jay, I would like you to address a Sports-betting trend I'm observing:

*The escalation of Highly-Juiced Lines.

Used to be that 20-cent lines were the standard. On Moneylines, the straddles seemed reasonable.

Not anymore:
1) Prop lines standard of -115/-115. 30-cent juice.
2) Moneyline straddles through the roof.
3) Live in-game bets with standard set to 30-cent juice.

Why? I can give one obvious retort. Books will juice it to whatever level they think the bettor will take.

If they use a 30-cent standard, it's only because they think you're a Sucker. They think you'll bet it regardless of the juice.
