revenge game tonite. That being said, so was Xavier. something seems off with hurleys team, started out the gates very fast. And now can’t play with any consistency

Just like a coin flip, there's two sides, a heads and a tails, same goes with sports wagering, there's two sides to every bet.

I like the Huskies, not large, but if one likes Marquette than you would have to consider the money line, at what, +160.

I won't lay -180 straight up with UConn, I'd lay the -4, I don't like laying anything over -140 or -150, but that's just me.

I'm laying the four -108, I believe we get it done, but if I liked Marquette, I'd probably do a +4 bet for 2* or a money line for 1* or some kind of split bet.

I'm thinking about going up for the game, it's an hour drive from here, I couldn't sniff a ticket for that big women's game against South Carolina Saturday, that was an impossible ticket, and I know people too.

i been a uconn fan since the days of dom perno and earl kelly. i miss jimmy calhoun. he could win with this team. not sure hurley can get to chip level. as for tonight, ats numbers scream for marq. 10-3 ats in conf. 6-2 ats on road. 4-1 ats last 5.
uconn is 4-9 ats conf. 0-6 ats after conf wins. 1-4 ats last 5 against teams that score over 77 ppg. gonna be a tight game. i would lay off or bet the team with the points. i only bet against huskies in a teaser. not be a bad game to tease if you have another play.

I like Auburn in a teaser with Marquette. Unlikely either lose by double digits IMO.

Two of the nation's top offenses tangle in this one, and that has me on the over.
Connecticut and Providence rank 14th and 22nd in adjusted offense, per Barttorvik. KenPom thinks even more highly of these offenses, slotting UConn 12th and Providence 20th by its adjusted offense rankings.

The over is 6-4 in UConn's last 10 games. In the last seven Huskies games that had a total of at least 140.0 points, the over is 5-2. The over has hit in four of UConn's previous five home games.

The Friars have seen the over cash in three of their past five games, including two in a row.

When these two teams met earlier this year, the total was set at 142.5 points -- same as today's -- but they combined for just 134 points. However, both sides shot it really poorly -- each under 37% from the field, with UConn making just 22.7% from beyond the arc. The offenses should fare better today, and the fact that the total has been set at the same number tells us as much.

Our numbers think the total should be even higher, though. Our model projects 149.1 points to be scored. We give the over a 64.3% chance to win out. Barttorvik has the total at 146.0 points. not an NCAA expert but Providence is my hometown team, and they have been excellent all season. why is the line so high? they beat Uconn handily on the reverse fixture...injuries? what am i missing ?
