2 days of arctic blast and then back to pushing 50 degrees again. It seems like this is the same cycle we've been in all winter. I wish it would either stay in the high 20s so there would be enough snow around to xc ski or get up over 70 so I could go to the beach. This stuff isn't doing anybody any good.

When was the last year we had a "normal" winter in New England? I can't even remember it's been so long.

Most people qualify for the assistance on that.
This is one of the biggest reasons why prices for housing, food, energy, etc. won't go down.
There are no natural processes working in the economy as it transitions to majority social dependency.
If you're not making household over $80k a year, you do better on welfare. Even with $80k you're basically just matching the welfare.

No you don't my warm weathered Aussie friend! I'm a beach boy myself raised in warm weather from the crib and when I travel and go into the 20's or lower I shut down and never want to leave the hotel room or home and just want to turn on the heat and warm up.

You get sinus and freeze and will be miserable after the adrenaline of excitement wears off when hanging outside especially if there is an additional wind chill factor involved.

If you bundle up even with gloves your face still freezes, your nose and ears get ruined. Better have good shoes on also or the slick black ice you walk on will put you on your ass..

Cold weather sucks if you are not use to it!!

It certainly has been a weird/different winter so far. Usually this time of year the Charles River is frozen over. Not this year at all. No ice.
