They don't want to use him in b2b games that's why he was rested last night. Most likely will play today.

... He could have thrown out his back and had a sore rectum from doing Griner also. The foot injury is a cover up.

If they want to make the playoffs the Lakers better play Glass Joe and Lebron every game. They have catching up to do just to get in and they pay those clowns a bunch of money to play and not sit on the bench.
He and Lebron never deserved that title. They only won it all because Kobe passed away. Granted, they came through and did it for him, which is nice, but if that tragedy never happened? Lebron would have 3 rings and Davis would have 0.

agreed. these guys rest like they have all the time in the world & are not 23-28. they are 13th in the conference & only better than the spurs and rockets.
lebron should have played last night and then see if he could "force" it again tonight. they rest with the anticipation they will be tired/sore instead of waiting to see the situation and if they are actually tired/sore.

League and players got soft.
Back in the 80's and even 90's I remember they never rested players. Kareem was out there every night playing and even on back to backs as a Laker and he was old. Shaq and Magic Johnson also. They got paid to play and lived up to it..
Today we have all the superstars taking games off for rest. Pathetic! Soft!

It's not the players. They want to play. It's all the medical teams and all these analytics nerds.

Imagine being a 2 point underdog to the Knicks regardless of Davis' status for the game. The Lakers sure did screw up their team. All for a chance to dance and hug in an empty arena.

Seems like a weird line. Knicks are a good team, Lakers on a b2b and blows. Seems like books are expecting a lakers win here.

I'm not sure the Lakers are even better with Davis playing now. Bench was starting to play better, side kick starters as well knowing they needed to step up..

nlf jimmy johnson said mistakes cost games. tom landry said you want to see how a game goes watch what happens to start the 3q.
nba? it's about superstars. at the end of the game, who is going to win the game for you. lakers still have lebron james. how much does this guy have in tank, he still seems to have something. amazing.

This guy is the most inconsistent star ever. Looks like a future hall of famer one night, and a GLeaguer the next.

He's hit and miss in games but as long as he stays healthy Lakers have a chance in this series. Looney can't stop him when he plays to his full potential.
It's clear to me both Lebron and Davis need to show up in every game to beat the Warriors. One slips they lose.

of course. he plays well every other game. but Dray played tremendous D against him in G2.
if AD does not show up tonight the Lakers will not win.
