this my fav situataion in all nfl and other sports using my ATS charts two teams headed in opposite directions

get paper of any lined each line ='s 5 points ats up to as high +40 bottom as low as -40

    ny giants last 3 ats +22.5 +11 +9.5 as a dog

    Eagles last 3 -2.5 -14.5 up to -10

plus add in Giants are losing div record 1-4-1 and teams with tied games never got to play in s b except 2

cheifs in 1966 destroyed by packers 49ers -5 vs Ravens s/u losers

teams played in london 1 win out 90 yes it was giants that one year

and a rokkie HC out 5 4 are home vikes last one who also played in london

and two other teams who played over seas tampa n seattle destroyed in playoffs

im laying 17 points for + money on eagles best p/u for eagles nadamnka suh how ever you spell his 1st name

    Billy:

    1) I follow everything you say.

    2) That alone makes me question where I'm at in life.

    3) Go back to the Dall/Jax game. Jax won the game late. That put Dallas on the brink.
...Dallas needed perfect 6-game runout to topple the Eagles for Division.
...My opinion is that led to the Eagles feeling like they were home free. That's why they looked so lax late in the year.
...Eagles HAD TO win the Wk18 game vs Giants. That's why Hurts played when he (maybe) shouldn't have.

Hope all the rest has helped Hurts. Fly Eagle, fly. That's why they play the games, Billy.

Billy, I read your comment re: the Ties. Gotta say that's a little half-baked.

Until the recent change in Overtime rule, Ties were very RARE. That goes back to the 1970s:

*Look up John Madden's record. He has a lot of Ties on there in just a 10-year coaching tenure.

Well, they didn't have Overtime back then. Could accumulate a lot of Ties. They really didn't know how to set the Overtime such that it wasn't a Carnival game.

Chiefs had a Tie on the record? OK, advance that game 12 years ahead. Probably wouldn't be a Tie.

The revised Overtime rule has put the Tie back in play. So much so that I don't think Head Coaches fully grasp it:
*See the Indy/Denver game. Denver HC had a tie if he wanted it. But he didn't take it.
*Tie is now much more possible. Reich almost picked up SECOND tie at Denver.

Anyway, you make a lot of good points. But the Tie comments might be a result of the Wild Turkey consumption.

Billy, you're off. You cited only a few examples.

I'm saying that the "sudden death" Overtime made for very few Ties. No surprise that only a few SB teams carried a tie since 1980.

Oldbill dont be too proud yet, yes eagles u were right (i also made numerous posts saying giants would not cover and were square as well)

U have one game left, sf and dal, u think sf beats dallas up, and iv already explained how vegas is inviting bettors to take sf, and therefore dallas probably covers.
