Remember, Purdy's job, before starting for SF was to run the offense against the best defense in the league in practice.

Can't ask for better non starting experience than that.

He's probably seen the fastest overall defense anyone has seen in the league. And that was during practice.

Add to that the "system" he is in, and the defense, and we can see why they have won some games and he has done well.
