Just browsed the scores. Carolina had 67 scoring 3, Nashville 25 shots on goal scoring 5. Line was around -250.

67 shots and you lose 3-5 let that sink in.

The last Preds goal was an empty net and Saros stood on his head most the night. Probably one of the best goalie performances I've ever seen.

I never watched the game but have seen similiar. As a obvious fan so have you. One team completely dominates and loses.
It happens occasionally in other sports but is common place in the NHL. Football being 2nd IMHO.
Hockey is a very flukey game sometimes. The puck is not round and seems to have eyes of it's own.
I never make as large a wager on the NHL as I do other sports for that reason.

Yeah Nashville was up 4-3 with like 15-16 shots on goal.

Your last part makes no sense. Football has so many flukey bounces. The ball isn't round.

?? I have hockey the most luck driven and football being #2...due to the fact the playing objects are not round.
                        Makes sense to me.

Baseball is the flukiest. Right up there with hockey. The smaller the ball/puck the more crazy things can happen. Tennis too but the top players can be much more precise.

SOG means nothing. I lost overs in soccer where there were 20 SOG and no goals scored. It is very common.

Shots at goal or on goal? It's rare if 20 shots. 20 dives is common.

Bring back old time hockey. 67 shots on goal is ridiculous.

Take a look at what I'm talking about:

                                  24 goal attempts - 8 shots on goal - 11 shots off goal - 5 blocked shots

And this is just from one team alone.

                                  No penetrating goals scored!
