I am on a journey of self love! After 62 years I am just finding out what really is all about that we all suffer from! It's very tricky because ego won't let you see it! Anyway look into it if you are interested and want to really shake things up, just putting it out there.
This tread reminded me of the journey that I have just started and maybe will help tmoible on his journey...
tmoible I wish you the best on your decision, it takes courage and discipline to follow through, who knows where all this will lead you! Stop by and let us know every now and then ; ) I am sure you'd be missed around here by so many....

quitting sports betting and quitting sports are not the same. it is gambling you need to quit, not sports.

Crazy time of year to do that. Try that in July and August, it's easy.

if you can't watch sports without feeling the need to gamble your issues are bigger than stopping sports. like JJ said you need to kill the addiction or it will just pass to something else.

that is like saying i love to fcuk but i can't be around hot females cause i get too horny and have to jack in public.

sports is not the addiction. gambling is.

This thread was unnecessary. TMobile already had most annoying poster of the year locked up.

Can gambling be an addiction if you win consistently? I guess it can? Sort of like someone who's just addicted to working/making money. I struggle with winning too much. Makes it hard to slow down.

Exercise, go to dinners with significant others/friends, improve yourself in some way around your career, work more, home renovations, take an island vacation. Just some of the ways to do it. It’s really not that hard

Sports are not as fun as it was for me growing up in the 70s.Football and baseball in the 70s were it. especially baseball. Reds, dodgers, Yankees Oakland Angels i would listen to baseball on the radio, Vin Scully when i went to bed at night i would have my Transistor radio and listen under the covers so my parents could not hear me. I could even pick up kfmb IN SD And here Gary Coleman and Dave Campbell. Then in the 80s Kdwn from Vegas. Best talk show ever. The Great Late Lee Pete and Donnie Bader, Sunday nights With Roxy Roxborough and Arnie Lang.I still love baseball and Nfl.I was a diehard Nascar fan.But these drivers today are whining little babies. Bubba Smollette ruined Nascar the last incident with Kyle Larson was the last straw.
