I think it's the classic "selling" tactic that makes people believe they have inside knowledge and potential gain that others don't. It's big in the homeopath or supplement community, etc. Also, lazy or stupid people who don't know and want to play and win for whatever reason (love the idea of gambling?). I'm too competitive so if I couldn't do it myself I'd move on to something else. It's more about the challenge and being good at something that is not easy, or others aren't very good at. For me, horse racing is the same way, and that takes a lot of skill. If you know nothing in that game, or aren't good, you'll see quite soon that you it gets boring because you seemingly never win or the balance of cash is so putrid it ceases to be fun.Originally posted by EnkhbatComment
