I mostly take dogs on the ML but it's tough sledding to be honest. Big dogs rarely hit in the four major sports.

Chalk winning again on a Thursday in all sports which is a very common theme if you guys follow trends. Thursdays and Fridays have been a favorite betters dream the past year or two since I've been following.

Depends on the sport for me. Take a lot of dogs in CBB and MMA, not as many as I should in baseball.

Many ONLY take favorites. Then they act like they are doing something when they win a few. Meanwhile when they compute there total winning they see that they are still down.

track 1000 bets and see if this industry is for you as far as professional gambling is concerned.

If the line based on your capping is -9 but the book offers you -5 then you bet the favorite as you have an edge.

In soccer I bet a lot of +0.5 for plus money or +1.5 and draws too. These bets are much more profitable than betting the favorite at - numbers in three way betting.

So in that sense I bet a lot of underdogs as I can cash plus money with 2 out of 3 outcomes.

Betting only underdogs in NFL without also taking the points is a disaster. Yes you will win a couple dog bets in the season but most of the money is made when you take the points and the favorite doesn't cover.

In NBA you got to watch for the injuries and who gets rested but if the road team is playing back to back games and they win the first game they usually rest players on 2nd game and if the home team is a dog I always bet the ML instead of taking the points.

In NCAAB is a crapshoot. Anyone bet CM today to beat Michigan? 22 point favorite loses at home to a bunch of high school level players?

I got over 140 basketball plays in my thread and I’d guess only about 10 of those plays are faves. Pretty much all dogs. My football thread probably about 90% dogs.

Dogs are where it’s at, took me a few years to realize that. I’m winning more than I ever have in betting.
