Here's the truth to the story.

Some four or five years ago some of the SBR fellas were going to meet up at Foxwoods.
I was down, I was looking forward to it as I haven't had a real night out in months.

I was at work, my wife had the truck (Chevy SUV)
My Blazer at the time was very reliable but getting old.
While I was at work my wife took our dogs to Lake Mohegan to run them for an hour or two.
I got home around 4pm or so, Ally tells me while coming home from Lake Mohegan the engine was making funny noises and the check engine light went on right after that.

I told her it was probably nothing, and after dinner I'm going up to the casino, which she knew in advance I had that planned.

Ally was like "Honey, I don't think that's a good idea, I really think there might be something wrong with the Blazer"
or something to the effect, she didn't want me taking the truck up to the casino because she thought there might be something wrong with it.

So I had two choices, blow off the evening with the SBR fellas, or take the truck and start a shit storm with my wife, which is never a good idea, and I am the furthest thing from henpecked by the way, and have her worry about me.

For some reason, and I really don't know why, because my integrity here at SBR has been impeccable for going on twelve years now, Sourtwist has a problem believing.

Personally I kind of like the dude, my wife didn't want me going to the casino for the night because she didn't want me to take the Chevy because she thought there was trouble with it.

What is so hard to believe?

The crazy thing is that even back in the glory days when there were a lot of legitimate posters, each mod had like 5 handles and were there to just start shit and stir the pot. You'd have guys forgetting which account they were logged in on and people talking to themselves for hours to make their posting quotas.

I don't know for sure but it's been suspected for a long time. If the new owners aren't going to make good on all the betpoints they should have paid out, the least they could do is give us some entertainment.

If you just google Beat the Prick 10/11/12 whatever you will see the winners from that year. In almost every case, some no name wins it. Then when the derailer account was proven to be a banned/deactivated account and associated with BuffaloNickle and a few others, they didn't with hold the prize money, they paid it out and banned the users involved. Easy way to get rid of the problem without the heat coming down on you.

Anyways I am sure the new owners have a treasure trove of emails and data that we could comb over and prove via IP logins who was who.

I think it is pretty safe to say that SBR has a plan and the plan is to sink this ship. For those who remember the days when there were constant posts, tons of posters, it is nothing like that anymore. This site is pretty much dead.

I know that there have been mods with multiple handles and posters that have been allowed to have ghosts as long as there was no shenanigans. I don't know for sure who was real, who was a mod, and who was poster ghost although the people I have met and spoken to off of the forum are confirmed real lol.

The contest stuff I am just speculating but I think it's pretty reasonable to believe that prizes were claimed or taken out of the pool by accounts controlled by the owners. Just look at the top prize winners for many years - no names who never posted.

I don't really care that much TBH but if the new owners wanted to shed some light on things I would be interested in reading it.

Why would owners bother spending time to either discredit previous people they have no beef with, or alternatively find nothing like what you claim and then have you refuse to believe you are wrong and start saying the site owners must be lying?

I never have and as far as I know no other current mod at this site has used multiple accounts either.

No one else has ever used JJ's account that I know of.
