Purdy doesn't have as strong of an arm, but he's more accurate and a better decision maker. Jimmy G was playing well lately but in crunch time you always had to worry about one of his dead ducks getting picked off or him missing a wide open guy

their running game, possession receivers, and defense are all so good though so they'll be fine. linesmakers would be foolish to adjust their odds too much since that would only increase their exposure

I'm with you here. I just posted in the other thread that the rookie QB thing is one of the weird buzz square things still around in the NFL. Sharps like me know better, and you either do or you realize Purdy is fine and the D and run game with Shanny are.

I don't know that algo but I'd say it's at least a 15% decrease since Jimmy G had been to deep playoff runs multiple times, and closer to 20% ish. Can SF still do it? Sure. But who would bet them here at anything less than +125? I wouldn't. That's 44% implied probability.
