USA is pretty decent. They will give the Dutch problems. They can take that game into extra time where anything can happen. My thinking is that van Gaal will play a patient game. Dutch players aren't strong on the ball like past editions but the USA MIGHT just fall right into the trap.Comment -

At risk of feeding your ignorance, I'll go down the list on why the games have actually been VERY GOOD:
A: Senegal qualify w/ Captain scoring his 1st career goal. Africans are proud people. They qualified w/o their (multi) Million Dollar Man, which is more than most thought possible.
B: USA qualify in a game where the taller opponents were trying to crowd out the quicker players. USA scores on a goal where Captain America gives up his body for the team.
C: Saudi Arabia scores possibly the all-time biggest WC upset vs one of the tournament favorites. They do it thru belief and not folding vs the biggest name in the game.
D: France is dripping w/ attacking talent, they are poised to go for a repeat. After getting run out in the opener, Australia score on a great goal and are now poised to advance despite being viewed as an outsider.
E: Spain runs roughshod over Costa Rica, and Japan rally to upset Germany. Easy enough, Costa Rica is ready to go out but Navas & Co beat Japan in a game where no pundit could foresee ANY way they could win.
F: Canada looked like they might be the upset team in this group. But they were unlucky vs Belgium and lose 1-0. No, the upset team was Morocco. With great skill, Morocco break down another tourney favorite. Ziyech magic, enough said.
G: Brazil is hungry, they haven't won in a while. Richarlison scores a sweet overhead kick.
H: Ghana is written off by most, they don't look strong enough. Through teamwork and precision, they beat South Korea. Proud nation, they give themselves a chance to advance in third match.
