I do not have the stats but seems majority of games come down to last possession regardless of odds

    Appprox Point teasers with favs
    +10: 115-29-3 (79.9%)
    +6: 92-50-5 (64.8%)

    88-58-1 (3.12, 60.3%)
    62-81-4 (-1.62, 43.4%) (avg line: -4.7)
    61-84-2 (-0.77, 42.1%) (avg total: 44.9)

        Talent is way down

The best teams from the 90s and 00s would demolish every team in the NFL today.

That's why taking the points has been gold this season. This is the product the NFL envisioned, close games with very few dynasties. The salary cap keeps teams from staying good after they strike lightening with a good draft. A smart GM is the only way to stay ahead of the game. Everyone wants star players but after they get paid? They become a liability. If they get hurt or start to decline then you're saddled with those big numbers. It's a different NFL now. Year to year.

Scoring is down, the main reason why the dogs are barking and biting.
Scoring was down almost 3.5 points per game the last time I checked.

and down scoring favors the dogs as it is hard to cover scoring less

Bad qb’s are the majority, leads to the close scores

The refs have quit calling patty cake PI's and defensive holding, which is great. Doesn't look like the linesmakers or the public has adjusted.
