Hard to word it properly with only so many characters permitted in the title.... I just meant to say he's officiating G.S. at home tonight.

I don't have anything on the game... was searching for other NBA stats... just found this info... wanted to pass it along! I'll take that luck into tomorrow's games though. Thank you. Wish you the same!

Are you crazy watch the game Warriors got killed on the officials and they still won. Brian went opposite today and was all over the road team, unbelievable. He's more rigged than Tim Donaghy. All them reffs are degenerates and gamblers

OK, here's my Ref/Ump story. You can look this up. It's factual, but I'm not sure all the details can be documented.
*Milwaukee Brewers opened a new stadium (Miller Park) in 1996.
With Brewers opening a new park, respected veteran umpire Bruce Froemming requested that acting Commissioner Bud Selig allow him to serve as Home Plate ump for the game. Selig allowed it, Froemming would call Balls/Strikes as the Home Plate ump for the opener.
I'm not saying that the outcome was shady. But there are circumstances to leave one questioning it.
1) Selig has a link to Milwaukee. He orchestrated the deal of acquiring the (short-lived) Seattle Pilots. He brings the Pilots to Milwaukee in a deal that was negotiated over two weeks during Spring Training 1970. Selig was then long-time owner of the Brewers in Milwaukee before taking over the Commissioner role.
2) Froemming ALSO has a link to Milwaukee, having been born there. Given his age date of birth (1939), Froemming was surely a Milwaukee Brave fan as a boy in the 1950s. He was a fan of the local team, it was a natural.
I believe Froemming lived in West Bend, just north of Milwaukee. The Brewers were a small Home Dog (+115?) in the opener. They did win, you can make up your own mind on whether Froemming gave the home team preferential ball/strike calls.
After the Brewers won that game, Froemming's normal rotation would sometimes land him as Home Plate ump for Brewer games. Random or not random, Froemming/Brewers started building up a streak. Around then (1996), you would sometimes see Umpire stats on the old message boards. Of course, Froemming/Brewers showed up on the old databases.
The streak grew. 11-0, 12-0, 13-0, 14-0. Finally after 15-0, Selig had to call Froemming into his office. Selig got wind of the streak. In order to avoid any prospect of malfeasance, Selig had to pull Froemming off any future Brewer games (at least as Home Plate ump). And I don't believe Froemming ever called HP for a Brewer game after that.
If I'm off on the exact # of the streak (could have been 13-0), I apologize. But I know what I write above is the truth.
