Maybe Arby's ran a specific promo for awhile and now it's gone, but to say that inflation is higher because $1 sandwiches are now $3 is silly.
Looking further, they last had this promo in August as 5 for $5.95. So if anything, the promo has gone from $5 to $5.95 in 3 years. Last year it was 5 for $5.50. So it's up $.45 ~ 8%.

It is all Joe Biden's fault, when he first came into office he basically shut down oil production which jump started gas price hikes and then he started out of control spending by the trillions. That was then the start of massive inflation for all of us.

Here in Upper Iowa are fast food choices are pretty Limited. I love Arby's there is going to be a brand new one outside of town here and when it does im downloading the app.I seem to get a little more fast food during the winter then the summer. Burger Kings new chicken crispy chicken sandwich's are good. At chick fil a a little way away but when i need to drive into Des Moines a hour and a half i hit chick fil a mac and cheese and the grilled chicken sandwich! I did love the Wagu beef burger at Arby.s.I dont eat burgers here i save those when i go on trips out west. Habit Grill is my new burger place out there!

Dam near paying $8-10 bucks for a whopper meal now with the sandwich suddenly shrinking by 1/4 like the big mac. The chicken sandwich might be the most -EV thing you could actually get at Arbys lol.

I don't know i think Arbys is different because they have the meat that they say is real but i think it is something more. Something that is part meat but also made from the leftover pieces of Angels that have fallen from heaven.

Hardee's is the Carlos Jr. of the eastern U.S.

I have rarely tried fast food joints... never had an Arby's.
Tried MacDonald's, Burger King..both were terrible.
Carlos Jr... Not a bad burger.
New Wendy's menu is supposed to be alright.
In n Out--- Good cheeseburger.

^ Hardee's/Carl's Jr still has a mean burger and menu. They advertise a lot and are doing just fine as a franchise today. That's why I invested in one in Ohio. I would have preferred a taco bell or McDonald's but the cap rate for those two were much lower.

Taco Bells and McDonald's still are a much stronger investment long term and more secure (iron clad) but with that you get a smaller return on your investment when buying the property and land lease for one of those. A 15 year secure lease for a McDonald's was typically around a 4% cap rate nationwide on average where my Hardee's was at a 5.75% cap rate.

On a 2 million dollar investment that's a bit of money I would have been giving up every month for just a little more security and peace of mind with buying one of those. I shopped Nationwide and I just wasn't on board with that.

Dairy Queen makes good burgers. The only fast food joint i've been outside of maybe Burger King where the burgers are charbroiled.
