That chip on their shoulder angle is a tired media trope... more about opportunity imo. I was reading the Israeli NT coach complain that when he watches the Wizards play his guy Avdija just stands in the corner while the guards play with the ball -it's true! Markkanen was in that same boat with the Bulls/ Cavs whereas now he has plays being run for him. Makes a huge difference clearly.

Either way, it's true. Depends on the players obviously but in this they're right. These type of teams start out strong and fade after a month or so. I'd be surprised if they kept it going for an entire season like the Knicks of two seasons ago
