Ties to my original post. IMHO, Bears need some help from the weather to win S/U.

See the opening game vs Niners. I'd attribute that outcome mostly to the monsoon conditions. Skill edge eliminated in those conditions.

Yesterday was windy af, but not so much today. A lotta rain recently, so field could be a little muddy, but not if they do their job. Weather shouldn't be an issue.

Humbling for sure. It's a test of character.

I am a big cheerleader for TUA but most QB's will look awesome against the Lions' defense. But you are right, they could have lost even with those weapons they have. They won and that's all that matters.

Winning on the road in the NFL isn't easy at anytime. Just ask those undefeated 85' Bears

OK, I played Mia -4.

Here is my angle:
1) TUA looks healthy. He showed no lingering signs when he had to make plays to win last week.
2) # looks fractionally too low. Should be -6.5, IMHO.
...Why did the # come down? I'd say b/c the Bears have looked better of late and a lot of Dogs have been covering across the league.
3) Hidden value on personnel change. Roquan Smith traded to BALT.
...Roquan was All Pro last year, easily the leading tackler on the team (83 tkls). They had games earlier in the year when the defense was on the field for a long time (w/ struggling offense). Roquan's absence merits a change in Bear power rating.

I hope they win. I think they will. Will they cover is another thing. I took the over as the Bears have been playing better on offense lately and Claypool is a good WR

As far as Tua goes, I am not sure if he can get through an entire NFL season healthy.

Weather channel said there would be severe thunderstorms, hurricane force winds and possible tornados in Houston on Friday. It didn't even rain. I don't trust that shit when money is on the line. Talk to someone on the ground.

18 mph winds could mean different things. Is it a constant wind or wind gusts? Are the gust like 30 seconds apart? I initially liked Chicago then Miami and now Chicago, which tells me to pass.

Fields broke the regular season QB rushing record with 178. He played great. Last 2 plays the ref and then his receiver let him down. Fields is a problem.

No but seriously, I played Bears +4 because Dolphins -4.5 was Phil Hellmuth’s play of the week and I auto-fade him every week. He’s 1-7 this year.

Miami's defense comes through late in the game again. They did it against the Bills, Steelers and now da Bears.

Miami could have iced it on offense twice. Once on 4th down and short where Tua missed a wide open TE for an easy conversion and the next drive on 3rd and long where he underthrew Waddle deep where he was wide open.

A win is a win!
