#8Originally posted by Mac4LyfeJJ - stop posting bullshit unless you have a link. People here actually bet on games and this post is fukked up.
The Nets have suspended Kyrie Irving without pay, saying they were dismayed by his failure to "unequivocally say he has no antisemitic beliefs," with Irving later issuing an apology for his social media post last week.
So despite donating to the Anti-Defamation League and the joint statement with the Nets Irving still didn’t quite produce the apology they were hoping for.
I did not see this coming, seems like Irving made right with at least the Nets, but the story wasn’t over.Comment -

#18Originally posted by d2betsWow. That pretty much means he's done. Kyrie not a complier. Will they be able to wiggle out of paying him? Who will take him?
Where is that renowned attorney Thom O Rino Esq. when you need him?
b) Who would want Kyrie now?
He was a train wreck in Cleveland, he was a train wreck in Boston, and remains a train wreck in Brooklyn.
I'm all for freedom of speech and all that other happy bullshit, vax, no vax, whatever, he has a right to his point of view, riddle me this though, as an owner of a gazillion dollar NBA franchise after all this, would you invest millions on him, after this latest episode?
I guess you should never say never, I didn't think AB in the NFL would get another shot.
*side note*
Now before my *buddy* Unde jumps ugly here, I'm using the NFL reference to further my Kyrie point.

#24Originally posted by Mac4LyfeNasher - if they void the contract they won’t have to pay Kyrie but they then lose him to someone else, most notably the Lakers for free. They need to find a way to not pay him but keep him on the team indefinitely. That’s how you fukk him.
That's why I qualified my post by saying I don't know much legalize, law is not in my wheelhouse so to speak, I could research moral clauses and the legal ramifications and all that, it's just too time consuming is all.Comment -
