Myocarditis and Pericarditis is a known side effect of Covid vaccine in adolescents and young men. It mostly occurs within the first few days after the shot, usually the 2nd shot. I don't know of a single case occurring after the first week and no one over the age of 28. Antivax folks love to use this as a reason for someone dying unexpected but it's pretty easy to confirm with an autopsy that I'm sure we'll know more about Zimmer in the next few days. I don't know either how he died but it wasn't from that. I don't even want to speculate and can only pray for the family. Sad death for that family and NFL team and especially father Zimmer. RIP

I should have mentioned that myocarditis does not equal death. It is very easily treatable and mostly discomfort. I've heard of a few young people that supposedly died from it but usually some sketchy details.
