Maybe you can script this team to barely beat trash teams (feels like that's nearly all their wins this season) but no script in the world can make the Bucs do real damage in the playoffs. I'm old enough to know that very few losing teams make the playoffs. I'm also old enough to remember the 9-7 Giants winning the Super Bowl. Lower seeds have done it before. Again, I do not think Tampa will do it, but it's certainly not impossible.

They also got "lucky". The best team doesn't always win. Any team in the playoffs has a chance. Any. Simple as that. The Giants were not the best team that season and probably don't win the SB more than 1 out of 100 simulations. But they won that one.
