Offhand I would say don't surrender on a 3/2 table.Comment -

#6You know the answer. Softest house rules. I've saved a lot on surrender and double after split. They even let me hit a soft hand when splitting acesOriginally posted by KVBWhat, exactly, are you asking here?

Sure, you saved a lot on surrender but how much did you give up? How many of those surrenders could have been a win for you?Comment -

#9All in player's favour:
(Late) Surrender ~0.1%
DAS ~0.25%
S17 ~0.2%
Double any cards edge depends. With respect to 9-11 or 10-11? Edge is huge if in relation to 10-11 but 9-11 it's very slim
I'm pretty sure most places let you split face cards because it's almost always a bad play. It IS the correct play sometimes depending on the count though (i.e. deck is rich in high cards). Hard to estimate the edge though since it's completely dependent on the remaining deck. I'd say around 0.1% if played perfectly (which no one can without software)
These are all assuming 8 decks, obviously edge increases with fewer decksComment -

#18Asiagambler right about splitting face cards unless you know the count.
And there are multiple ways to count, including tracking 5's or low, medium, and high cards that have been spent; and others.
Multiple decks erode everything, basically.Comment -

#26Blackjack is a losing game. There’s a reason casinos have more blackjack tables than any other table game.
You have a better chance with Baccarat. There’s a reason why there’s only one Baccarat table running at every casino.Comment -

One table, single deck, 3/2 blackjack, high limit tables, taking all comers in Harrahs. Nearly always open.
They are challenging the counters.
