Really like Under 6.5 in this one.

Strider and Nola have a combined xFIP of 5.07 and I generally like Unders on very low totals.

However, I don’t like that you can get +105 on the Under. Red flag for me. I suspect it’s because of the Philly bullpen and Strider returning from IL.

Or is the Over getting hammered because of the ballpark, Philly pen and speculation that Strider won’t be in his insane form?

Strider probably won't go more than three innings. Flip side of that is no reason to hold back, so could throw 100 MPH from get-go.

It's my feel the OVER is getting hit because of the line itself. I think it's too low.

I can see 8 runs here in some forecasts.

What I "consider my sharpest" no vig line on this game is -104.50/+104.50 with Atlanta the favorite here and the associated score with that line does take us over 8 points.

In fact it approaches 8.5 points.

Even my non-predictive public gauge gives us 7.5 points.

I think there's a range of things here pressuring the OVER and that the market has gladly accepted that action today, and eaten it up.

I think market blinking here overall right before game time is going to trend toward Atl and the OVER, if there is any blinking.

Nice way to adjust lock. Not very often KVB shares information but when he does it’s usually pretty spot on.
