Yeah, doesn't get any quicker than this. A variation of this is the gate opening and the horse simply refusing to move. That feels slightly worse to me, especially because it can leave you hanging to confirm whether there was a gate malfunction, so you have to wait a few minutes to know for sure if you bet on a bum or not.
