Since I am one of the smartest sports bettors on here. I did my research to see if there is an advantage. This is what I found.
Patriots shutout Jets in 2019 then defeated the @Jets in 2020 and lost the ATS road.
Lions shutout Packers in 2018 then lost to @Packers in 2019 and won the ATS road.
Jags shutout Colts in 2018 then lost to @Colts in 2019 and lost the ATS road.
Rams shutout Cardinals in 2018 then defeated @Cardinals in 2018 and won the ATS road.
Cowboys shutout Eagles in 2017 then defeated @Eagles 2018 and won the ATS road.
Chargers shutout Broncos 2017 then lost to Broncos 2018 and lost the ATS home.
Ravens shutout Bengals 2017 then lost to Bengals 2018 and lost the ATS home.
Bills shutout Patriots 2016 then lost to Patriots 2016 and lost the ATS home.
49ers shutout Rams 2016 then defeated @Rams 2016 and won the ATS road.
Panthers shutout Falcons 2015 then defeated @Panthers 2015 and lost the ATS road.
Bengals shutout Browns 2014 then defeated Browns 2015 and won the ATS home.
Saints shutout Bucs 2012 then lost to Bucs 2013 and lost the ATS road.
Raiders shutout the Chiefs 2013 then lost to Chiefs 2013 and lost ATS road.
Seahawks shutout Cardinals in 2012 then defeated the @Cardinals in 2013 and won the ATS road.
From what I found.
Seahawks shutout Cardinals in 2012 then defeated the Cardinals in 2013 and won the ATS.
Patriots shutout Jets in 2019 then defeated the Jets in 2020 and lost the ATS.
Lions shutout Packers in 2018 then defeated Packers in 2019 and won the ATS.
Jags shutout Colts in 2018 then lost to Colts in 2019 and lost the ATS.
Rams shutout Cardinals in 2018 then defeated Cardinals in 2018 and won the ATS.

I dug a deeper jags beat colts 6-0 in 2018
While that is technically a shutout it hardly counts imo

Yep, I rewrote my post. I looked back 10 years and added more info. Basically a coin flip from what I found.

Being shutout effects the game of next week, not the next divisional game and not the next season game.

I like the colts if Taylor plays. colts with revenge and extra time to prepare to get it. Taylor doesn’t play? then I’ll pass

Sharps on the Jaguars especially when public money is on the Colts.
