#8A program would not hire Monken unless they specifically wanted to run the option. As someone said above, Monken has run the option his entire coaching career, mostly under Paul Johnson
It's not just an Army or even a military academy thing. If let's say Georgia Tech had an appetite to run the option again after Collins' disastrous run, then they would probably look to hire MonkenComment
