This is going to be quite interesting from a wagering stand point... also... I feel it will cause tight officiating... players getting pissed off at each other... maybe more technical fouls/ejections?

Just looked at the Detroit Pistons schedule.... so basically out of 82 games... they will play back to back 4 times... (8 games). All these games come with 1 day of rest in between though.

Apparently they want teams traveling less.

This might become a trend in sports; with a few exceptions, the PCL played nothing but six game series this year. Less money on travel equals more profit.

If the NBA decides to keep this format.... it will be pretty interesting to see if you can spot a trend when a team enters back to back against another.... might be able to pinpoint something profitable over a period of time. Get the notepad out gang.
