Not so sure. They had nothing against Buffalo after the comeback but found a way to win. Outgained by 270 yards That was their down game. Thinking they will have a bad day off the comeback and the huge Bills game is faulty because they got lucky to win against the Bills They were spent coming in but found a way. Now they will be reinvigorated.

If the injuries to Tua and Waddle are major plus the Dolphins coming off a big win plus Dolphins pass defense is the worst in the league plus the Bengals defense with home field then this is a good spot to bet the Bengals. If Dolphins keep it close to 3 or win straight up then I would be surprised by that.

1) Bengals look like one of the weakest Super Bowl representatives I can think of.

My take is fading the public is mostly a waste of time. Generally there is as much money fading the pubilc as there is the public, on any given game. There can be a game or there where it matters, but there are plenty of games where you get trapped in it.

And the reasons is...what one bookmaker said, that makes total sense. They don't care what the public bets on, because eventually they will lose money. Win this week, it ends up in the book anyways.

My money is on the Bengals ML. this guy is taking Bengals -3.5. Not a lot of sharp guys I can imagine take -3.5. That is scru spread #1 in the NFL, right over the key #, and you can be sure they are rooting for a Bengals win with a Miami cover.

Yeah i think there's reason to believe the Bengals aren't that good. Burrow ties Wentz with 15 sacks. Their pass protection is poor, and I wonder how long before Burrow and Wentz get injured again.
But the Dolphins defense had 90 plays last game. That was tops in the league with the Rams 81 being second. And we're talking a short week, and guy (Tua) with injuries. It's just not a good spot for a road team on a short week.

As for used to be, you're right. These days most everyone has stats for everything including splits, which they can get right away. I have yet to hear a guy say he's going to vote with the public.
