I've seen teams kick the FG on 3rd down to save time. The Steelers didn't do probably because of the wind. You have to have an onside kick anyway, so save as much time on the clock to give yourself a chance. FG was the right move. You need 2 scores anyway.

If the offense was out there it was 4th and 1 after 3rd down 100 percent chance he goes for it. He didn’t have anything ready. They were trying to get the first fg to stand. That’s what he was arguing about

Definitely not after the 4th and 1. This saving time shit is so dumb. You don’t need any time for a fg after an onside kick maybe 10 or 20 seconds. They needed a miracle at that point anyways
