they did not clinch home field yet in the AL, only a first round bye. but i am agreeing this is a letdown spot after celebrating yesterday and the rays ace on the mound needing a win.

They are 8 ahead of NYY with about 13 to go, so theyve basically locked it up.

I dont see any of the big bats in the lineup tonight for Houston.

Houston with a standard lineup minus Alvarez tonight. Very very strange that these guys wouldnt get a night off after locking up the division and essentially home field in the AL.

Im actually shocked this line isnt shooting its way down from the -145 range to the -125 range. I was confident the -137 to -150 climb today was in anticipation of Houston resting several regulars. But with the release and the line holding steady, I dont know what to think.

In the past, I would let most losses domino, but these things just dont happen anymore. Only one losing week since the beginning of July, been a pretty magical run and alot of trips at to the liqour store, bringing home the good stuff and a pocket full of dough.

Ya I already locked in the Guardians at +127. I expected this one to be closer to a pickem. That was a pretty deflating loss for the White Sox, curious to see how they respond.
