I read the story straight though, this is the first time I'm hearing of this, I read it from three different sources, including the WSJ.
First name that popped into my mind was Mike Postle.

Yes but it's also not exactly the same either. With Postle he cheated so blatantly that it was impossible for anyone to think he was playing legitimately after analyzing his hands. Neimann is actually a decent player and if he's cheating over the board, he's doing it very selectively which would be really difficult to detect just analyzing his games. It's likely he has an accomplice that's using an engine and relaying moves to him somehow for live streamed games. The anal beads things is a joke that was retweeted by Elon lol
