Has to be, I don't see dogs winning over 3/4 straight up.

Yeah ATS makes sense really most prep time and teams know each other

For the entire season last year, Division Dogs, whether Home or Road, were 49-47. 51.0%. ATS. Tread carefully.

Researched pro football reference and the numbers are correct; I get 29-9-1 in the last eight years.

Lines are not sharp the first week of the season. If you take the points on all division dogs on first week you will come up ahead.

The one sports radio station by me does a betting spot Wednesday and I only caught part of it. Thanks for verifying it.

I should have put that in the original post title, but it had nothing to do with the entire season, just week 1.

                      this makes sense

you get teams like the bears getting 7 at home and who knows, they could win 12 games this year. just an example, not saying they will.

Home went 2-0 and Road went 1-3. Not good.

Huh? 4-2 overall. Falcons, Texans, Vikings, Steelers covered.

Packers were the Dog, not the Vikes.

                              It opened +2 Vikings.

This is the problem with these trends. Who knows what they do with a game like that? If you count as both a win and loss it went 4-3. Would make more sense to ignore and say it was 3-2 IMO

I believe they use the closing line when going back and trying to find angles.

I dunno. Do they try and make it sound good especially if it’s a betting service? I would think so. Usually have a disclaimer saying “against the closing line or teams that open as dogs” or something like to that effect if that’s the case. They could count this as 4-2 and promote it next year, but not like if they counted it as 3-3 it wouldn’t still look nice.
