This game is why gambling is soooo addictive. A sure loser late (LSU +6.5) turns in to a miracle winner. The missed convert was icing on the cake. Never know what might happen in OT.

They also should have called timeout after first down after the muffed punt. You are in desperation mode at that point. Saving a timeout ain’t worth 40 seconds.

You’re right. They came up empty on both. With all the other shit that happened, I didn’t remember the dumb 4th down happened after the first muff. That was unbelievably stupid. I think he did it because they missed the first fg. Still made no sense.
