Extra - My brother was diagnosed with it about 4 years a go and thankfully beat it. His was in his lungs. We believe he got it from the asbestos in the office building he's worked in since the early 90s here in Houston. I know that we don't know how people get it today but do you have any theories on how it happened to you? Doctors are making some amazing break throughs everyday. It just seems like a matter of time before we know how to prevent it or possibly cure it.

Thats great to hear about your brother, lung cancer can be tough, of course he had MD Anderson.

They say once you can feel a tumor the cancer has been present for at least 3 years. There was a period in 2018-2019 where I was rehabbing one of my cars (major interior upolstry work, typical mechanical work). Maybe exposure to acetone, brake cleaner, motor oils and glues (not Elmer's but Weldwood contact adhesive). Didn't wear a respirator or gloves so a lot of skin contact?

That ("it will never happen to me") has kinda been my approach to life over the last 46 years. In retrospect, should of at least been wearing gloves.

My younger brother who I think is about your age is also doing the second stage of his chemo for multiple myeloma right now. It feels close to home listening to you speak. Have you had any nerve pain from the chemo?

Push ups suck and hard especially when you are fat and get older. Gotta do it! Fight the power and don't be lazy! Do a few sets daily and eat protein!
