many awe inspiring and spectacular athletic feats in baseball

but way over rated at the plate

                lifetime OPS well below .800

only in MVP voting once...he got 10th

But it's just how everyone would stop whenever he came up to the plate, or how everyone loved to watch him play football. Yea, he doesn't have the numbers, but he will always be remembered as one of the greatest athlete's of our generation.

                    HOF em. He deserves it.

Bo Jackson was better at football. Damn shame he blew out his hip, no telling what he could have done with a full career in the NFL?

I agree with you on this Arch... it was cool to see someone play both Football and Baseball at the Big League Level.... always felt he was a WAY BETTER football player than baseball player.

I mean in that era... who wouldn't want to show the world... hey I can play 2 professional sports? The coolest thing to see as a kid growing up.

his age at time of injury was about when we see RB's decline anyways.

The HOF is not that special anymore. They let anyone in. Tony Boselli??? Really?? Deion had this same take as well.

yeah not really 69 yards rushing per game not really killing it in my book

in an era of feature backs he was just another option on his team.

                                it was his hobby
