Just remember, the first 4-5 weeks of the NFL are full of EASY wins. The bookmakers want you to feel confident because they know this is a long season.

Common guy I'm not that clown spewing guaranteed winners. There's no such thing as a lock. Unless I was being ironic you're unlikely to find a post of mine where I mention that word.

The point is that in the first few weeks of the NFL there are typically some chalk wins that the books will allow.

For instance, Houston is a terrible team. Their first team nearly lost to the Rams UDFAs. Laying 8 there seems like a play you could make. You don't want to lay 8 then you get a sweet teaser number.

Didn't last year's NFL started with a ton of dogs covering? As a matter of fact, wasn't it like that for the 1st half of the season where more dogs covered?

It doesn't mean it could repeat like that this year, but who the heck knows.

Hopefully, you are right about some easy chalks in the beginning of the season, so I will avoid taking the dogs if they are on the opposite side of your chalk picks.
