Tweet provides little info.
Organizers are going forward as if the game is going to happen.
Word is there are more than 2 dozen Flor A&M players that are ineligible to play against UNC. That includes a number of key starters. Word is the players, the other players, refused to get on the bus to board the plain.
So far the story is that the team is delayed but will travel to UNC for the game. So far.
I can not confirm that they have traveled or are in route but they are supposed to leave later today.

UNC is supposed to pay Flor A&M a guranteed $450K. Off topic, but I think Flor A&M actually landed the biggest Big10 game at 900K.Comment -
I should add more info.
The idea behind the player "boycott" may be a safety concern.
If you had to have a minumum number of scholarship players during COVID, for safety reasons, then, for safety reasons, the players are questioning whether or not the rule should still be applying.
A&M is losing enough players here that if it were due to COVID, they would have to forfeit.
Players want some union rights, lol.
The situation may still be fluid but worth $450k to the school...so there's that.

The decision to play or not is being left up to the players, at least by the coach.
I'm sure the Treasurer of the Athletic Dept is sweating a bit.

So maybe if the players are affraid that they will get injured by playing without their starters NC coaches should treat it like scrimmage and don't put the strarters to play. Just use back ups. It's the fair thing to do.Comment -

Those early blogs were off a little about the number of players. The will be without 20 players and down to 7 off linemen.
