Step One is Moderation. Learn the best way to MILK your $$ at a slow pace:

1) Honestly, recreational betting is not a bad thing. Think about it like this. If it's a choice of Attending a Movie or Betting/Watching a Game for 2-3 hours, that's not bad. The house really doesn't like sports-bettors, b/c the Vig is too short.

2) Blackjack w/ Basic Strategy is fun and relaxing. With reasonable rules, House Edge isn't more than 0.5%. Good bit of variance, but it's a fun and honest game.

3) Poker Tournaments. It's a skill game. Rake is too high (like 20% of post-up). If you can last a while, can play for two hours. If you think you're better than Average player, damage isn't too bad.

For god's sake, no Online Casino. And no Slots or Scratch-off Tickets.

i got skeletons with online casinos. nothing i am proud of or that worked out in a good way.

i would love to just play BJ in moderation online. like $5 a hand and have fun but i can't. $5 is good for fun cause even if you lose 10 hands in a row it is only $50. but i always start going higher and higher and chasing. can't help it.

correct. the line was -7 at first for the ravens on sunday and went down now to -5. i did not bet yet cause i thought -7 was high. with -5 i feel a lot more comfortable.

for preseason i rather have a coach wanting to win
