Romo was a play by play guy and was phenomenal right out of the gate. Garrett is a pre game guy and is terrible. Only way he improves is if the networks tells him to stfu about coaching with Nick Saban (he referenced it twice) playing with Troy Aikman (referenced it 3 times before I muted it) and omg his story about his dad having a workout in their backyard for high school kids? My god he’s TERRIBLE!!

sure there are nerves in game 1. i think he needs a little time but i would pull the plug if by the end of september he is the same robotic guy. not a fantastic start by any means. relegate him to the worst game each week and let him learn.
