i chose this life but my dad bet horses and went to casinos so I was around that a lot. he also ran a football pool at work which i participated in as a kid. that really started my interest in spreads and teams covering.

I was lured by the promise of a better life, 3 car garage home and vacation properties with a side piece included with each one.

What I got was a makeshift closet and a mattress. Forced to ingest narcotics and perform sexual favors all day everyday. That was fine until they made me start gambling.

Small at first, now I can't do anything without at least a few bets on any game at all times of the day

It seems to make people superstitious.

My friends' teams can have a 6 run lead in the 9th (I know that just happened) or a 14pt lead, with the ball, at the two minute warning...and not relax.

How many endeavors can one work at one's own pace--work with numbers--enjoys sports, and, (as long as adhering to the 1 percent rule), be OK.

Tough to shake the stereotypes, though. A guy puts a suit on and works down town and is a reputable "speculator" or "analyst."

T-shirt and boxers at the computer and one is a derelict........

good post roscoe. i can tell very few women i like to gamble without them assuming i am a loser or a guy who can't manage money. of course, if they gamble themselves then the response is a lot different. i mean the regular girl walking around who knows nothing about gambling and thinks it is this poisonous entity to never touch.

Not really. When I first started betting I was making 500-1000 most days selling weed. I was barely 21 and had fukk loads of cash and was stupid about it. I started betting during the playoffs. I went 9-1, no joke. If I would of lost that first time I would of never bet again.
