#18I mentioned this in a post last week.
I watch Cowherd and Joy Taylor's show when I can on FS1.
Usually I bail on FS1 after Cowherd because I can't stomach Bayless.
He's beyond annoying AF, I'd rather stab my eardrums with a Bic pen and bludgeon my temple in with a spade shovel than listen to that homo.
Anyway, for reasons unknown I left FS1 on.
Probably because Shannon Sharp led in the show talking about the Murray contract.
(Sharp is actually not bad, and if he were to be tried for strangling Skippy, I think the panel would come back with a justifiable homicide
verdict)
Sharp leads with twenty straight minutes totally pummeling Murray, ripped his a double new asshole.
Sharp was like Mussolini from the balcony.
"Murray isn't bright enough to be a starting QB in the NFL", badda bing..
"Murray is the reason for the toxic Cardinals locker room", badda boom.
This went on for at least twenty minutes, I was like "Wow, Sharp's laying into him:
You had to be there I guess.Comment -

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I've seen a couple of Oklahoma baseball games with Murray in the outfield, he played LF and CF, had a cannon for a throwing arm, solid defensive outfielder, slashed .300/.400/.500 almost (.296/.398.556)
That was his senior (last) year at Oklahoma, 2017.
Rarely you'll find at any level a gold glove caliber defender that hits .300 gets on base at a 40% clip, and slug .556
Do the math, that's and OPS of 1.250 and that's a number that us baseball geeks take notice of, that's an eye pooping number.
He hit 10 HR's in 51 games, 189 AB's, 10 swipes.
Do the math again, pro rate that out, that's a 20/20 season.
He was a 4.5 star tool baseball player.
Say what you want, Big 12 baseball is big time NCAA baseball, not quite the elite conference the PAC12 is, but Power 5 never the less.
(2017 the Big 12 was represented by seven different NCAA schools in the College World Series, that's big enough big time for me)
Only college athlete ever to be selected first round in a draft in both baseball and football.
I said it five years ago, I'll say it again, he's the perfect size to excel on the MLB level, not so much in the NFL.
But Kyler being Kyler, chose NFL because the Oakland A's told him he'll have to put in a couple of years in on the AA minor league level.
Kyler didn't want to pay those baseball dues, didn't want to put in the minor league work.
Some of you may know the back story to John Elway's career.
Let me get this out front, I am not a big John Elway guy, there's a few things about him that rub me the wrong way about him, but I am not denying the incredible success he's had in professional athletics.
I'm a NY Giants homer, as a kid one of the my favorite sports moments was when my guy Phil Simms carved up his Denver Bronco's on way to a Super Bowl championship.
But I digress (I'm the king of digression, brevity was never my forte)
Elway came out of that famous 1983 QB class, in 1982 he was a good enough baseball player to be selected second round in that years draft by the Yankees, was also selected first round in the NFL by the Colts.
Did you guys know Elway was drafted six selections higher than Tony Gwynn, you know, one of the top ten greatest hitters of all time, yeah, that Tony Gwynn.
Elway got solid business advice, used his baseball leverage (he hit .320 for Yankees single A minor league Yankees) and told the Colts if you draft me I'm not signing and will play pro baseball.
Elway played that hand to perfection, Colts traded him away to Denver, and by now you all know the rest of the story.
Eli did the same thing to the SD Chargers but without the baseball leverage.
If Kyler Murray gets leveled by some beefy DE in a year or two and is lying on the turf in misery with a career ending (Choose your own leg or knee injury) I'll be the first to say "Told you so Kyler, you should have gone to minor league baseball for a couple of years, you were almost guaranteed to make the A's big team by 2024"Comment -
