#110Hell no. You got to give yourself a few chances but overbetting this and spending a lot of money does not increase your oddsOriginally posted by godukeDoes 50k really knock your odds down that much?Comment -

#124Who ever wins this lotto will become a major target. Better be a company pool win or he or she is dead.
Very dangerous winning the lotto for big money these days! Be careful for what you wish for!Comment -

#126That could work if you immediately get out of Dodge and set up the off shore accounts. Still your name is out there and picture of you probably as well. Trail of money as well. Word could get out and you could still get jacked.Originally posted by pavyracerYou got to.move out of the country once you win. Put all money in offshore bank at Cayman Islands and travel the world. Best to pay to go into a full blown witness protection program and try to get a new look and new identity.
Could also roll the dice and maybe purchase a very secure and gated mansion and hire security around the clock and never leave the house.Comment -

#127Getting out of the country is the best idea. Most countries will grant you citizenship in a short time if you buy real state and have money in their country's banks. No guns and no crime in most other countries. No one will know who you are unless your name is Kardashian.Comment -

#129The Illinois Lottery allows winners to request anonymity if the prize is greater than $250,000, which certainly applies in this case. You may request to keep your name and municipality of residence confidential at the time of claiming your prize.Originally posted by JIBBBYWho ever wins this lotto will become a major target. #131^Saw a special on big lotto winners recently.
The remain anonymity aspect is not bullet proof, lotto winners usually have loud mouths, family members spill the beans, friends tell friends, etc. They are found out eventually and are targeted by professional kidnappers, thieves, etc. more then ever recently. It's crazy..
Besides that many lotto winners can't handle the winnings and end up in a bad way anyways.
It's not all what it's cut out to be. I suggest you guys research it if you don't believe me. It's a curse to win the lotto.
